Startbegleitung für Asyl- und subsidiär Schutzberechtigte (Englisch)

The Startbegleitung für Asylberechtigte und subsidiär Schutzberechtigte (Start-up Support for Asylum and Subsidiary Protection Beneficiaries) advises on all questions of everyday life after status has been granted, such as securing livelihoods (e.g. minimum income, family allowance), looking for accommodation, learning German, looking for a job, school and kindergarten places and much more.

The multilingual advisory team consists mainly of social workers with a refugee background. Telephone and personal advice on individual topics is offered, as well as holistic case and arrival support.

The aim of the advice is to provide holistic support and support for refugees with asylum and subsidiary protection status in order to stabilize their living situation in the first two years after the positive decision and a successful start to life in their new home of Austria.

In addition, family and couples counseling, support for refugees who are young adults (under 25), assistance with housing, and active support in job search are provided in collaboration with the WAFF .
