StartWien Hub

The new innovative pilot project StartWien Hub supports families in the context of family reunification through targeted measures.

The program supports newly arrived family members of refugees in Vienna in finding their way in society, achieving independence and actively participating in social life.

Over a period of six months, participants will be supported by various educational and advisory services that will enable them to arrive in a targeted and resource-efficient manner.

The project is modular in structure and the individual offers are coordinated in such a way that the target group receives holistic support after their arrival in Vienna.

The modules focus on literacy and German courses with childcare, case- and process-oriented counseling and social work support, information, discussion and meeting opportunities, and networking with and use of existing services provided by the City of Vienna.
